TWO LOSSES BACK TO BACK BY A TOTAL OF THREE RUNS SETS UP THE RAZORBACKS TO WIN THE B-FLIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP For more info see http://www.sacrazorbacks.com The Sac. Razorbacks first Round Robin game was against San Diego's Excessive Force. The Razorbacks cruised to a 22-9 victory led by newcombers Todd Phillips and Chris Oliver who both homered twice in the win. The 2nd Round Robin game was a heartbreaking comeback loss to the LAPD Lawmen 27-25. The Razorbacks had the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning trailing by 2 runs when the Lawmen finally closed the door. The Razorbacks had trailed 16-1 in the 4th inning. The Razorbacks were led by James Spugeon who was 4 for 5 with 2 homeruns including a grand slam in the 6th inning. The 3rd Round Robin game was a 22-21 loss to a Sincity Vegas squad who ended the game with a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 7th inning. The Razorbacks had tied the game in the top half of the 7th with a grandslam by Chris Oliver. Jose De La Cruz led the Razorbacks with two homeruns in the game and stellar defense. The Razorbacks 1st B-Flight tournament game was against Folsom-Sac J-Cats. The Razorbacks again scored more than twenty runs winning easily 23-10. James Tomasetti led the way with a perfect 4 for 4. The next game was a 30-4 trouncing of the Springs CHP team. Seven different Razorbacks hit homeruns in the ball game. Direct Impact (CDC) was up next but was the same result. Razorbacks win 25-13 led by Oliver's 3 homeruns. The championship game was against the Orange County Hitmen. The hitting machine continued as the Razorbacks pounded out another 27 runs in a 27-15 win. |
